Louisville Male Invitational 2010
2009 Summary: After a 1 day delay due to heavy rains the 2009 Male Invitational did not disappoint.
Nine meet records fell some of which have stood for several years. In addition to the meet records a
number of state leading marks were established in both the relays and individual events. Team titles
went to boys of St. Xavier and Eastern girls. St. Xavier ended the two year run for the Bulldogs as they
racked up 124.50 points beating runner up Male by 9 points. The ladies of Eastern easily won the
competition beating runner up Male by 21 points. Several exciting races highlighted the day including
the boys 200M which saw Tyson Gay's meet record of 22.40 fall to Chisom Omenyinma of Male High
School who edged Brandon Nichols of Henry Clay 22.37 to 22.38.

Time: Field Events 4:30 with Running Events at 5:30
Entry Fee: $80 per team or $150 for both, individual events $4.00, relays $6.00

Relays: Coaches may enter both A and B teams for all Relays.SMR (100, 100, 200, 400), DMR (1200, 400, 800, 1600)
General Information:
* Each team may enter two individuals per event
* Coaches may enter “A” and “B” relay teams (both can score).
* Unlimited entries in the pole vault
* Field Events will start at 4:30 P.M, running events 5:30 P.M.
* Three jumps/throws for long, triple, shot and discus. No finals
* All running events will be finals
* Medals awarded to the top three places.
* Trophies awarded to team winners.
* Heat sheets will be posted on Wednesday March 31st.
* Only scratches allowed on Thursday
* Admission charge will be $5.00
* Schools will be given two coaches passes and meal tickets
* Concessions will be available beginning at 3:30 P.M.
* No dressing room facilities will be available.
